I bought it as a birthday present for my nephew that was turning 5 years old. At first I was a little worried that it might be too young for him...maybe this toy was better for his 3 year old brother? No! He loved it! So did his older brother! I think boys love trains no matter how old they are. They really had fun changing the tracks a round,and loved watching it lay the two tracks down and keep going. It was great watching them enjoy it so much! It does well on the round track, but in magic mode where it lays the track, we cannot seem to get it to keep the track laying & picking up after it only does it twice. Not a big deal to us. The train can still roll around the house with ease. It is a little annoying how loud it is though. However, our son LOVES it!!! |
